The Adventure
Enjoy one week in Cantabria and stay at the Hotel Rebeco, a beautiful high mountain accommodation inside the Picos de Europa National Park. One entire week to know the Cantabrian Range. The greenest area of Spain with high mountains of 2000 meters and deep beech forests full of fauna. Discover the possibilities that this trip offers you.
The program includes 5 different hikes from Fuente Dé, inside The National Park and one day to decide your own adventure. A unique place to get with the cable-car and by foot into Picos de Europa, 3 incredible massifs of limestone built with approximately 360 over 2000 meter high peaks. The change between the highness and the coast nearby creates conditions completely exclusive of the zone that we can appreciate in the weather and vegetation of the region.

What is included
Requirements
Because of the fitness requirements, the trip is not prepared for children younger as 15 years old.
However, ask us for a private and adapted itinerary. The walks are prepared with a moderate to challenging difficulty, that’s why the participant is required to be used to walk in the mountains long distances, between 5-7 hours daily.
It is important to tell us in advanced any requirement, heath problems or diet conditions.
Our program
Day 1
You will arrive at the airport of Bilbao/Santander/Asturias and picked up by our transfer.
At the hotel Rebeco, already in Cantabria and in the National Park you will be welcome and received
with a meeting.
Day 2
You will take the famous cable-car in Fuente Dé and ascend from the high of 1100 meter to 1900 in just 4 minutes. Enjoy the views and the walk on the limestone path.

Day 3
Today you will see the Picos de Europa from another viewpoint, enjoy the magic of and ancient yew
forest and let the small villages show you a bit of the culture in the area.
The yew is an important tree in many cultures, and an example of this is the mythology in Cantabria.
Do you want to know one of the best-preserved Tejo forests in the region? Do you want to enjoy in a hike the wonderful views of the village of Potes, Liebana valley and Picos de Europa NP?

Day 4
One of the most famous and known hikes in north Spain. La Ruta del Cares. A beautiful and comfortable path in between too high walls. Cross this gorge and discover an amazing view of this paradise. Today you will also enjoy a 4×4 car tour to see the mountains from a different point of view.

Free day. Today you can choose your favourite activity. We offer you a wide range of options:
- 4×4 route in Palentina Mountain, region of bears.
- Visit the Natural-Adventures Park of Cabarceno.
- Enjoy the river Deva with canoeing.
- Go to the coast and try to surf.
They will ask you and help you at the hotel and inform you about availability, and prices.
Day 6
Get once more in to the Picos. With a challenging hike to Liordes and the possibility of visiting the Hut in Jermoso or the summit of Padiorna 2314m.
Walk round through the hills of Liordes.

At your last hiking day, you will visit the Lookout of Salvorón. A glacier lake located in a beautiful and isolated placed. Home of bears and griffon vultures. Let be amazed by the fauna like chamois and many birds or deer

Final day at the hotel, have breakfast and our transfer will take you to the airport, unless you got any other trip.
The Hotel
The Hotel Rebeco is a high mountain hotel, made of stone and wood, a privileged location to enjoy nature, the beginning of numerous hiking routes. Beautiful in summer as the entrance to the Picos de Europa from Cantabria and with the Cable-Car just 2 minutes away. At the same time, it is an authentic and isolated place cover by snow in winter.
You will be able to enjoy the view here, to walk around the National Park and to take a transport if you need it to Potes. The occasion to know the culture and the gastronomy of the region.
Here you will have all included from the day that you arrived. Breakfast-Picnik for the hike and Dinner. Ou will also have the opportunity in your day off to find something different. This day just breakfast will be included, but you can ask at the hotel if you want to have lunch or dinner.
